Warrior L96 (MB-01) Airsoft / BB Sniper Rifle

After hours of deliberating over which Airsoft Rifle/Gun to buy I decided on the Warrior L96 (MB-01) Airsoft / BB.

I decided on this gun due to the following:

1) I do not have the time to go to proper skirmish events to play air soft.
2) Due to the above I decided on a two-tone gun.
3) Target practice using a sniper rifle on private ground is more enjoyable that an automatic.

These are my notes on things to be aware of when selecting this rifle:

1) I believe it would be difficult to use purely sniper rifle in a skirmish. It is slow to reload. I would get an automatic. Therefore I would not recommend this if you intend to play skirmish. I intend to set up some 2 person strategy/target games which it will be fine for.
2) The HOP UP adjustment gives no real feedback as to when you are at the max and minimum. Due to this I overtightened it and broke the HOP UP internal plastic bar. I only found out this when I took it apart to understand how the HOP UP adjustment works. Really this should be metal like the rest of the gun, I will try and get my Friend to machine metal replacement ones.
3) About 1 in every 15 goes way off, over 47 foot I saw 2-3 inch stray on the target, this appears to be reduced with a firm smooth re-load.
4) The spring in the magazine is not strong enough and sometimes the BB's do not feed. I have to bang the magazine to loosen the BB's and get them feeding again.
5) The gun and mechanism can be taken apart and cleaned very easily, this is enjoyable.
6) The scope I got with the gun can be adjusted and has a 3-9 zoom and what I think is a focus adjuster ring. This is perfectly adequate for the gun performance. It was sold as an add on and comes with real gun instructions so I cannot work out if it is the standard scope from the factory.
7) You must remove the velocity reducer at the first available opportunity to get maximum power.

Performance:

1) I can hit a 2 inch target 9 times out of 10 from 47 foot.
2) It is very difficult to see the BB performance from less than 30 foot as it is quite fast.
3) This gun can hit a target the size of a human head (4 very large apples) reliably from 90 foot (.30g BB).  The BB's easily penetrated the apples.
4) Any further than 90 foot you are looking like needing a human size target.

First Shot on a 50p size target from 50 foot.

Below, hits on a 50p size target from 50 foot. This was a practice run.
